Ryan Wesley Routh is behind bars for trying to kill Donald Trump earlier this month on a golf course. Investigators found “hundreds of” files with child pornography in his home in Guilford County in North Carolina on Saturday. Now, his son Oran has been arrested as well. Authorities searched his home “in connection with an investigation unrelated to child exploitation.”
The charges against him include possession and receipt of child pornography.

The device that contained the sick material is not specified.
ABC News confirmed that the “unrelated investigations” were referring to Routh’s dad, who is still in custody following a Monday court order to detain him pending trial. A U.S. Attorney’s Office spokesperson of the Middle District of Carolina confirmed this to ABC News.
Investigators found the pornography on a Samsung Galaxy Note located in Oran Routh’s bedroom, and also another Galaxy Note in Routh’s possession.
In the criminal complaint, prosecutors stated that a review of the SD Card located in Device-1 revealed it contained hundreds of child pornography documents. These files contain videos from a well-known child pornography collection created outside of the state of North Carolina …”
The complaint included a graphic description of the videos and a July chat in which Oran allegedly responded to a person advertising the content for purchase.

Oran commented on the attempted assassination of his father and said that his dad hated Trump.
What the son of the suspect said reveals the fundamental problem in the demonization by the media and Democrats of Trump.
According to the son, Oran Routh:
He said his father hates Trump as ‘every reasonable person does’, adding ‘I don’t like Trump either.’
Oran said, “He’s my father and as far as I’m aware, all he has had are a couple of traffic tickets.” That’s crazy. That’s not my father. I love and know he is my father, but this isn’t him.
He said he was on the beach. I thought he meant the outer beaches of Hawaii. I didn’t want to ask him for more details because we had a fallout. We’ve grown to be distant.
Oran Routh is scheduled to appear in a North Carolina Federal Court on Tuesday. Prosecutors will most likely request that he remain detained.
