Barrett Blade, Stormy Daniels’ husband and fellow adult film actor, has said that the couple would likely leave the U.S. in the event former President Donald Trump was found not guilty of the NY v. Trump landmark case.
“If Trump was found not guilty…I don’t believe it gets any better for her. You know? If he’s found not guilty, I think we have to decide what to make of it. Good chance we’ll likely leave this country,” Blade told CNN on Tuesday.
Daniels, who has denied having an extramarital affair with Trump for years, was allegedly paid $130,000 by prosecutors to remain silent about her allegations. Trump has pleaded innocent in the case involving the alleged falsification of business records related to the payment.
Blade, in an interview with Erin Burnett, said that Trump supporters will insist on “her” being the reason he was convicted.
Blade stated, “I don’t see this as a win-win situation in either case.” “We want to move on… she wants to forget about this.”
Daniels gave an extremely detailed account last week of having sex allegedly with Trump in a Lake Tahoe Hotel Room in 2006. In trial media reports, Daniels was described as speaking fast, making jokes, and going beyond answering the questions directly. Judge Juan Merchan told prosecutors their witness had been going into “unnecessary detail” at one stage.
Many celebrities have made threats to leave the United States over Trump. However, A-listers like Chelsea Handler Snoop Dogg Miley Cyrus Samuel L. Jackson Barbra Streisand Bryan Cranston, and Barbra Streisand never did.
Whoopi Goldberg, co-host of “The View”, recently stated that she would “not go anywhere” following Trump’s sharing a post on social media mocking her previous remarks about leaving the country if Trump won the 2016 elections.
