Joe Biden Really in Hot Water Now

I receive hate mail often for writing articles that are critical of Donald Trump. According to Trump’s diehard supporters, he not only has the right to win the GOP nomination for 2024 but is also the only candidate who can beat Joe Biden.

I’ve tried to be as fair as possible in my coverage of 2024’s GOP primary. I don’t have any qualms in stating that I believe that Trump can most definitely win in 2024 despite the fact that many Republicans say he cannot.

But those who support Trump or another Republican ask the wrong questions. It is not about whether Trump, DeSantis, or Trump are too toxic to win, but whether Biden will beat any Republican running for the nomination.

According to a new poll from CNN and SSRS Research, he really can’t. According to the poll, not only would Trump beat Biden 47-46, but all Republicans but one candidate (Vivek Ramaswamy) beat Biden or tie him. DeSantis ties Biden at 47% each. Pence bests Biden by two points, 46-44%, as does Tim Scott. Heck, even Chris Christie beats Biden 44 to 42%.

The real surprise is that Nikki Haley won the poll by a greater margin than any of the other candidates, beating him by 49% to 43 %. This poll may not help Haley win the GOP nomination but it will certainly help her as a possible running mate to Donald Trump or Ron DeSantis.

Biden does not fare better than any of the other Republican candidates tested in this poll, despite voters’ strong opinion toward Trump. CNN’s report on the survey says that he is roughly equal with Ron DeSantis (47%) and Mike Pence (46% Pence vs. 44% Biden), Tim Scott (46%) and Vivek Ramaswamy (44%) in terms of their ratings.

The report states that “Haley is the only GOP candidate who has a lead in a hypothetical match-up between Biden and Haley, with 49% compared to 43% for Biden.” This difference is at least partly due to the greater support Haley receives from White voters with college educations than other Republicans (she has 51% in this group, as opposed to 48% or lower for other Republicans in the poll).

It is not a good position to be in for an incumbent, as he will lose to almost every Republican candidate. This is not surprising, given how low Biden’s ratings are and that most Americans believe he’s way too old to run for president. This poll is clear: Joe Biden will be a weak candidate in the 2024 elections.

Of course, the media will try to save Biden since he is so weak.
