The President of the United States is refusing to fix the enormous damage he caused to the domestic oil industry. Instead, he travels to Saudi Arabia carrying a hat and begging the leaders of the “pariah state” to lower oil prices. This is after America’s disastrous withdrawal from Afghanistan. She is also encouraged to support her enemies.

In the midst of all this and more, the first lady of the United States has a message of hope and encouragement for embattled Americans: pity poor Joe.

We made a mistake by giving the presumed President a 33% approval rating. We erred by giving the presumed president a 33% approval rating.

CNN reports that Doc Jill Biden vented her frustration at President Joe Biden’s slow pace during a private fundraiser in Nantucket for the Democratic National Committee. She stated that Old Joe was constantly challenged by unexpected crises while in office.

Jill believed that our current situation was her fault. Jill felt that the current situation was her fault.

Jill or Doctor Jill? The possibility of Putin invading Ukraine was not discussed. He didn’t discuss the possibility that Putin invaded Ukraine.

Jill claimed that she herself had also been diverted from her own idealistic plans by all these crises that no one could possibly have anticipated or provided for: “I was saying to myself, ‘Okay, I was the second lady. I worked in community colleges. I worked on military families. I’ve worked on cancer.’ They were supposed to be my areas of focus. But then when we got [in the White House], I had to be, with all that was happening, the first lady of the moment.”

She knows that Democrats will be defeated in November unless they come up with some clever tricks. Yes, Republicans stick together. Ask Mitt Romney, Lisa Murkowski, Adam Kinzinger, and Liz Cheney.

Ultimately, however, for all of Jill’s self-pity and nonsense, she did convey one genuinely encouraging point: Old Joe hasn’t been able to do everything he wanted to do. For all the damage he has done to the nation, it could have been much, much worse.
