Ivana Trump, Ex-Wife of Donald Trump, Dead at 73

Donald Trump’s first spouse, Ivana Trump (mother to his three oldest children), died on Thursday.

The former president posted on Facebook, “I am very saddened to inform all those who loved her (of whom there are many), that Ivana Trump passed away at her home in New York City.” She was an extraordinary, beautiful, and inspiring lady who lived a remarkable, inspirational, and fulfilling life.

Ivana Trump was 73 years old. Her cause of death is not known. The support has been pouring out by her family and friends.

According to the New York City Fire Department on Thursday, they responded to a call regarding a cardiac arrest at Ivana Trump’s Manhattan home. Authorities arrived on the scene to find the victim already dead.

Ivana Zelnickova was born in Czechoslovakia as a former model. She married Donald Trump in 1977.

Trump’s children released a statement in which they described their mother as an “amazing woman” — “a force of commerce, a world-class athlete, radiant beauty, and a caring mother, and friend. ”

“Ivana Trump was a survivor. She fled from communism and embraced this country. She taught her children about grit and toughness, compassion, and determination. She will be dearly missed by her mother, her three children, and ten grandchildren,” they wrote.

Eric Trump told reporters, “It’s been a very sad day guys, a very sad day.”

In an interview on ABC’s Good Morning America, she stated that she has the direct number to the White House. This was months after her husband’s election. OK?

Ivana Trump was promoting her memoir “Raising Trump”, in the same year that her ex-husband offered her a U.S. Ambassadorship for the Czech Republic. She declined the offer, saying she liked freedom. ”

Ivana Trump divorced Donald Trump in 1996. She continued her successful career by starting many of her own businesses, including a cosmetics company. Bette Midler and Goldie Hawn were advised by her: “Don’t get mad, get everything!”

Ivana Trump has been married four times. She married Rossano Rubicondi, an actor from Italy, at Mar-a-Lago. Ivana Trump was also there. She claimed her husband wanted them to move to different cities.

She said in a statement at the time, “Que sera sera!” (Whatever will be, will be!)
