The White House has announced that President Joe Biden tested positive for COVID-19 today in Las Vegas and will cancel his scheduled speech there.
The White House reported that Biden has “mild” symptoms, including “general malaise.”
Not long ago, he boarded Air Force One and was seen climbing the stairs slowly and painfully.
Karine Jean-Pierre, the press secretary for Biden’s office, said that Biden would fly to Delaware and “self-isolate” during which time he will continue to perform all his duties.
According to Dr. Kevin O’Connor the president’s doctor, Biden has “presented today afternoon with upper respiratory symptoms including rhinorrhea and non-productive wheeze, along with general malaise.” The first dose of Paxlovid an anti-viral medicine was administered to him.
Two “colds”, if you keep score, in three weeks. It’s not good for an older person with poor health to get two colds in three weeks.
It could mean that Biden will be out of the public eye for two weeks, or even longer. This could result in another campaign at the bottom. It’s a relief for everyone who wants to keep Biden in the race.
This news comes as more Democrats, such as Rep. Adam Schiff, called for him to withdraw from the race today.
Biden has had COVID three times (that we are aware of). We have lost count of how many shots he has taken.

Masks are supposed to save lives.
Remember that Biden originally stated he would drop out only if God said so. He has stated more recently that he will only withdraw if he is suffering from a serious health issue. We could be there.
