Yale University was found to have failed in its duty to disclose donations from Qatar, a Middle Eastern country that houses Hamas senior leaders.

In the last eight months, antisemitism was displayed in colleges across the country. This announcement was made at a bad time for the university’s reputation. Yale received donations worth $15,925.711 from Qatar and reported only $284.668.

In July 2019, the Department of Justice, Washington, D.C., welcomed Dr. Charles Asher Small, the Director of the Institute for the Study of Global Antisemitism and Policy, ISGAP. He presented results from a research project, which began in 2012 and was entitled “Follow The Money.” This is a project that continues to examine the illegal funding for U.S. universities. This research project is an ongoing project that examines the illegal funding of U.S. universities by foreign governments, companies, and foundations which adhere to or promote antidemocratic, antisemitic, and racist ideologies.

The project revealed that significant Middle Eastern funding had been provided by the U.S. The funding was provided to U.S. universities, but not reported to the Department of Education as required by law. A federal investigation was launched in 2019 to investigate this matter.

The Office of the General Counsel of the DOE is scheduled to publish the findings of an ongoing investigation into Yale University in October 2020. According to the DOE, Yale University had “apparently not complied” with federal reporting regulations when it failed to declare $375,000,000 worth of foreign gifts. Yale also “failed to report its foreign gifts and contracts for four years prior to retroactively reporting”.

Qatar has also been listed as one of the largest international donors to American universities. It has given more than $5.6 billion since 2007. Ivy League Universities like Yale, Harvard Stanford, and Cornell are among the top recipients.

Now we can understand why leaders are allowing this.

Qatar’s money from the terror attack on Israel by Hamas in October 2008 has allowed it to exert an enormous influence on prestigious Universities. According to experts, Qatar has mainstreamed anti Israel propaganda and has used its money as a way to suppress criticism about Doha’s longstanding connections to Hamas or Iran.

Anti-American countries buy our universities in order to try and penetrate American culture, politics and ideology. These countries are also successful.

Yale must be held accountable for their illegal activities. This is especially true in light of our current obsession with “bookkeeping”. We also need to protect the integrity of our academic institutions.

If the law were properly enforced, these universities would face serious consequences.

Democrats like to say that “Nobody Is Above the Law”. We’ll see how serious they are about this cause. Yale must be held accountable for allowing the protests to continue.
