WHO Says COVID Vaccine Boosters Will Likely Prolong the Pandemic

What happens when Dr. Anthony Fauci disagrees with the World Health Organization (WHO), regarding vaccines? It could be a sign that we can return to legitimate scientific discussion.

The WHO Director-General stated that these booster programs are likely to prolong and even intensify the pandemic by diverting vaccine supply to countries with high vaccination coverage. This gives the virus more chance to spread and mutate.”

The WHO Director-General suddenly sounds more like Dr. Robert Malone or Dr. Geert Vanden Bolssche, who have been arguing that you can’t vaccine your way out from a pandemic for months. The WHO statements echo the Great Barrington Declaration, authors. To reduce serious illness and death, they believe that vaccines should be given to those who are elderly or at-risk in order to prevent future outbreaks.

Tedros’ comments were made after Dr. Anthony Fauci, Dr. Francis Collins had tacitly acknowledged the protective effects of recovered immunity. Recent press appearances by NIH leaders credited the low incidence of severe disease in omicron to the large exposure to the South African delta variant. These statements are similar to those of Dr. Michael Mina, Harvard, who spoke about layers of immunity to SARS/Cov-2. Mina described how it would develop through multiple exposures in an interview.

I have always believed that this virus will eventually kill us. It’s inevitable that people will continue to be exposed. It doesn’t matter if it’s to Delta, or a variant in five months’ time, everyone who is exposed to it — it’s building up immunity. So, it’s only a matter of time before we have both vaccine-derived immunity and natural infection-derived immunity.

You can imagine it as a sandwich. We can then say, “Okay, now you know, even though the virus changes a little, I have so much protection.” All these antibodies not only recognize spike proteins of the virus as we see in vaccines but have also been exposed to them three times.”

According to CDC disease burden estimates, more than 200 million Americans have had COVID infections. Nearly 205 million people are fully vaccinated. Our public health officials tell us that vaccines can still prevent serious illness and death. It is possible to see a Venn diagram of Americans: those who have recovered, got vaccinated, and then recovered. This gives us a positive picture of the next wave of omicron. We have probably accumulated many of the layers Mina predicted.

On Wednesday, Rochelle Walensky, Director of CDC, stated to CNN that she wanted people to be able to gather over the holidays. Safe gathering means that everyone over 16 years old has to be vaccinated. California Governor Gavin Newsom announced that boosters would be required for healthcare workers who are at the highest risk of being exposed. Washington D.C., Boston, Chicago, and Chicago just announced vaccine mandates that do not recognize recovered immunity.

Yesterday, Pfizer received an FDA emergency authorization to use its outpatient medication for mild to moderate COVID. Because it interferes with viral replication, it should work with any variant. A growing number of doctors are now using other medications to treat symptomatic patients who live outside of the hospital. Research has also shown that omicron doesn’t invade the lungs as previously thought. There are now reports that blood tests for omicron patients have not shown the inflammatory markers found in severe disease. This seems like a good time to pause boosters, as Tedros advises and other doctors and researchers.
