Donald Trump spoke in Milwaukee, Wisconsin on the final day of the Republican National Convention. In his speech, the GOP nominee for President of the United States called on unity, described the assassination in Butler, Pennsylvania, and said that we are going to drill baby drill.

Trump explains what happened in Butler, Pennsylvania Saturday:

This evening, I want to thank the American people for their love and support after the attempted assassination at my rally last Saturday. I will tell you the story, but you won’t hear it again because it is too painful.

Watch what he has to say about the attempted assassination:

Trump, who accepted the GOP nomination for the position of President of the United States, called for unity in the nation.

There is no way I can win if I only represent half of America. With faith and devotion, I accept your nomination as President of the United States tonight.

Melania Trump, the wife of Donald Trump and former First Lady Melania Trump:

Melania, my wonderful wife, is joining me on this journey. Melania, thank you for your letter to America, which called for unity. Many were captivated by it.

Speakers at the RNC reminded Americans of what it was like to live under Trump’s administration. Meanwhile, Democrats made promises to voters but did not deliver.

They claimed that the Republican Party was a party with a large tent where everyone was welcome. Biden’s support is declining among black women, the GOP’s largest voting bloc. The GOP has made gains with Hispanic, Asian, and young voters.

The speakers who spoke were able to hit on the right points and tell the stories that would appeal to those who were watching the convention open-minded and undecided, or even unhappy with the Democratic Party. As long as the GOP grows, people will vote in large numbers, ensuring a victory for Trump-Vance and a majority in both the Senate and the House. As the old saying goes, “Your mouth is God’s ear.”
