Springfield, Ohio is experiencing a large influx of Haitian migrants who have been granted temporary protection status by the federal government.

According to Rob Rue, between 15 and 20,000 people are moving into the town. The town has a population of only 60,000. This is putting pressure on resources such as the police department, fire department, health care, and schools. He blames the poor immigration policies. He said that they were just overwhelmed.

Problems in the town are also felt by the residents. A woman’s heartbreaking comments from a meeting of the city commission last month are now viral.

She said, “I’m tired of what I see,” in an emotional voice.

“My neighborhood is no longer safe.” Homeless people are trying to camp. I’ve made concessions to them, and I do my best to help them to prevent them from trying to squat in my yard. It is dangerous. Men who cannot speak English are screaming at me in my yard. They also throw mattresses and trash. And I cannot…look at my 95-pound weight. “I couldn’t defend myself if I was forced to.”

She said that her husband is elderly. He told her last evening, that after 45 years of living in the same house, it was time to “pack up and move.” They couldn’t continue like this, as it was “killing their mental health.”

“I don’t understand what you want from us as citizens. I understand they are on temporary protection status and that you are protecting them. I know that our city services is overstaffed and overwhelmed.

Who protects us, if we are protecting them? Who is protecting me?

“I want to leave this town. Please give me some reason to stay.”

It’s impossible not to feel sorry for her. It was a response to thank her, but that doesn’t sound like an excuse to remain in such a precarious situation. She has every right to feel secure in her home. She gives a face to an issue that is affecting many people in different cities due to the failure of Biden-Harris to adequately address immigration issues.

From Brooklyn to Colorado, we’ve heard of people having to deal with the problem.

The Biden-Harris campaign doesn’t give a damn about the impact of its policies on Americans. They denied the problems for three years and then broke the border, making everything worse by removing protections put into place by former president Donald Trump. With the election approaching, they have finally realized how bad this issue is for them. This doesn’t make them fix the problem; it just makes them blame Republicans. They don’t accept responsibility for their actions.

It’s not just them.
