You’ve probably heard that Haitian migrants in Springfield, Ohio, ate pets and park animals including geese. Are these claims true? Answering this question isn’t easy.
Residents have told a council meeting they saw migrants kill ducks and geese. A viral video showing a woman eating a cat wasn’t actually from Springfield or a migrant. The local police also say that they haven’t received any calls.
Truth is likely somewhere in between. The picture of a migrant with a dead goose has been widely circulated and appears to confirm some of the above claims. Are cats being eaten by migrant workers? I can’t answer that question, so I’ll let others speculate.

Most of the time, I believe it’s just a joke. Joe Biden’s temporary protective order has overwhelmed small communities. We should listen to residents who say it is a problem. But some people took offense at the memes.
Rep. Eric Swalwell is the famous catfisher who was caught by a Chinese spy. He had a complete meltdown at a hearing on Tuesday. I’m talking about screaming and spittle flying.

SWALWELL – What the hell is that?! The Chairman tweets “Protect Our Ducks and Kittens in Ohio”, because he falls down a rabbit hole that is completely debunked: aliens eating pets. My God! You’re okay, Mr. Chairman? Last year, for a long time you promoted Kanye, who was calling for the genocide of Jews. And you continued to do so. Now, as we have victims arriving here, you are tweeting this nonsense. I don’t understand why you would do that. I hope that you are okay. I don’t even know if those aliens that are eating your ducks in this room are present. But, Mr. Chairman, it is a very serious matter.
Rep. Jim Jordan who chairs the House Judiciary Committee has never “promoted Kanye as he called for genocide against Jews.” It’s difficult to imagine that someone like Swalwell could be in public office. Do these districts have any kind of standards? This clown is the clown among clowns. His faux intellect makes him even more funny.
Jordan shared this meme as a joke. The meme was intended to be humorous, and it certainly is. The hearing that was taking place, which included victims of crime, had nothing to do with it. The information was not part of the hearing. Swalwell did not have a reason to mention it other than he was triggered by an insult made at the Biden Administration’s expense.
We deserve better government officials than this. Swalwell probably thought he would end up on CNN. He still may, but is this reason enough to hijack a hearing? To freak out about a meme is also ridiculous. It’s stupid and shows how unreliable so many in our government are.
