SF Fire Dept. Takes Heat After ‘Let’s Go, Brandon’ Makes It Into the News for Worst Possible Reason

There haven’t been many stories recently about Brandon sightings. Perhaps that’s because media outlets must explain why the phrase is used. With the midterm elections just a few weeks away, and Democrats on the ropes seriously, it’s not something that the MSM’s Democrat apologists want to see.

One exception was made, however, when a random Karen user on Twitter tagged San Francisco Mayor London Breed and San Francisco District 8 Supervisor Rafael Mandelman. He also criticized the San Francisco Fire Dept. for allowing one of its firefighters to wear a “Let’s go Brandon” t-shirt while working.

The local media responded in kind, with KTVU, a Fox affiliate, and KPIX 5, a CBS affiliate from the Bay Area, referencing the tweet above as the basis of their reporting on the story that ultimately led to “disciplinary actions” against the firefighter.

The KPIX report:

After being seen wearing a tee-shirt that had the conservative slogan “Let’s Go Brandon” printed on it, a firefighter from the San Francisco Fire Department has been disciplined.

KPIX 5 was informed by Lt. Jonathan Baxter, Public Information Officer at San Francisco Fire Department, that they had received information about the incident on Saturday morning and are “addressing it immediately”.

Baxter stated that the firefighter should have worn a uniform shirt or a department-issued t-shirt and not the shirt bearing the political slogan.

The San Francisco Fire Department was apparently on the case before the story reached the airwaves. The San Francisco Fire Department was already on the case and informed the tweeter that the issue would be “resolved immediately”.

The SFFD was criticized by other Twitter users for prioritizing the non-issue over issues that merited more attention, such as this one.

I hope the Twitter user who “outed” the firefighter and woke Democrats from SF is okay. I am so sorry for what happened. Truly. My thoughts and prayers are with you at this very difficult time.
