Sen. Kennedy Roasts Kamala Harris with Explosive Polygraph Joke: ‘It Would Go Off if She Walked By!’

We’ve said it before: Sen. John Kennedy is a national treasure. Predicting what he’ll say is impossible, but it will be funny. It’s hard to resist his irreverent, homely humor, which also has a bit of an edge.

Kennedy took to Fox News on Saturday night and lambasted Democratic appointee Kamala Harris.

“It’s worth examining why Vice President Harris is now behind,” Kennedy told [host Brian] Kilmeade. “I think she’s behind because of all her gauzy rhetoric. People are uncertain about her. They don’t know if she has the right stuff to be president. They’re worried that she doesn’t, they’re worried that she was that kid in grade school who ate paste, they just don’t know. She hasn’t — she won’t be pinned down, I think in some cases she’s lying. People are worried that if she walked by a polygraph machine, the dang thing would explode.”

He went on to say that Harris was a cipher for most voters:

Kennedy added, “People want information about what their president will do. Now, let me tell you what else has changed in this race besides the vice president. Vice President Harris adopted a different strategy. Joy is gone. She has adopted Hillary Clinton’s deplorable 2016 strategy, which was that if you voted for President Trump you are a bad individual.”

Trump is holding a huge rally in New York City’s Madison Square Garden, while a Kamala PAC decided Sunday was a good time to air a campaign ad that focuses on self-pleasure. As we get closer to the election, this contrast is even more striking.

The tale of two candidates. While Kamala PAC drops a video showing sexism, Trump airs an epic ad during the NFL game that shows what matters.

Kennedy’s aplomb in pointing out the truth is that Kamala simply isn’t a credible candidate or person for that matter.

YouGov’s July poll for The Times revealed that 54% of respondents thought that President Joe Biden’s health problems were masked. 68% said that Harris was “very” involved in concealing the truth. Trump has accused Harris of lying when she claimed to have worked at McDonald’s in her teens. Her campaign, however, has not provided any evidence that this is the case.
