Brian Trascher confirmed, as we reported on Wednesday, that a UH60 Blackhawk, the Vice President and Public Information Officer of the United Cajun Navy had washed the rotors of one of their hurricane Helene relief stations in North Carolina.
A helicopter “rotor-washed” the POD center on Sunday evening, October 6. The United Cajun Navy had been distributing relief supplies to those affected by Hurricane Helene. As this area was a no-fly zone, the sight of a helicopter hovering 500 feet above the ground was incredibly frightening. The UCN reported on its X Page.
Trascher said they were investigating the incident and had more information about the possible perpetrators.
The North Carolina National Guard admitted that their Blackhawk helicopter was responsible for the crime, a day late and a dollar short. They posted this on X Tuesday night.

The North Carolina National Guard is aware of an incident that occurred during the delivery of generators to a local civil organization in Western North Carolina.
The NCNG explained what happened on a thread.
Rotor wash caused items from a local distribution set up by a small group of civilians to be blown away while the aircraft was attempting to land. The crew recognized the problem immediately, aborted the landing for safety purposes and left the area.
The incident is under investigation, and the crew is grounded until the investigation has been completed. The NCNG has been working with a local civil organization to assess the extent of damage caused by rotor wash.
Does calculating the damage mean that the United Cajun Navy will be reimbursed for any supplies destroyed? You could ask for the relief of all those Carolinians who were hampered by a pilot asleep at his controls.
This incident is currently under investigation and the crew has been grounded until the investigation is complete. The NCNG is working with the identified local civilian organization to assess the level of damage caused by the rotor wash.

The NCNG places safety as its number one priority. This is especially true with the volume of air operations that are currently taking place in the region. NCNG strives to be precise in all missions, but sometimes things do not go according to plan.
The NCNG is committed to correcting and addressing any problems to avoid future occurrences.
The federal government is under fire for its lack of response to the tragedy caused by Hurricane Helene in Western North Carolina. It only fuels the anger of the public that the state national guard committed this mistake. NCNG knew that the public would soon discover that their helicopter was involved, so they acted quickly to divert attention away from them. CYA is at its worst.
Trascher, United Cajun Navy, was my telephone contact on Monday. I asked him about his suspicions and he said that it might be the Air National Guard of Louisiana. Trascher stated that they would report to the governor and guard general of the state where they were returning to.
Who is responsible for North Carolina’s National Guard? It’s none other than Democrat Gov. Roy Cooper. He has been involved in the slow response of FEMA, and the roadblocks faced by other relief groups like the United Cajun Navy or individual citizens who want to help. On the same Sunday as the incident, Gov. Cooper went to X and slammed the “relentless whirlwind of disinformation” as well as “bad actors” for making him a victim.
As we continue our unprecedented response to Hurricane Helene, the nation is beginning to understand that impacted areas have been the target of a relentless vortex of disinformation, dialed up by bad actors and platforms like X. 🧵

As we continue to respond to Hurricane Helene in a way that is unprecedented, the nation begins to realize that the impacted areas were the targets of a vortex of relentless disinformation, pumped up by bad actors, and platforms such as X.
We need to work together to rebuild and recover from a catastrophic disaster like this one – and spreading false information to sow chaos hurts real people. Politicians, billionaires and grifters who peddle lies during a time of crisis should be held accountable.

Spreading false information to create chaos is hurtful to real people. Politicians, billionaires, and swindlers who spread lies in a crisis need to be held accountable.
“Politicians who spread lies in a crisis, as well as billionaires and crooks should be held responsible.” Cooper is definitely to be held responsible. He blabbers about the “unprecedented” response, but it has little to do with him. It has more to do with billionaires such as Elon Musk, relief organizations, and those brave Americans who were the first to respond. Cooper, instead, chose to play with FEMA leaders and cozy up in his Raleigh home and office, while those who were saving lives and giving hope were the people he maligned.
