It’s official. It’s official. Liz Cheney lost her Wyoming congressional race against Harriet Hageman, who was endorsed by Trump. However, the mainstream media is still pushing for Cheney’s candidacy for President in 2024.

Michael Beschloss, a presidential historian and MSNBC guest, suggested several times that Cheney runs for office in 2024. He also asked his Twitter followers if Cheney should run for office in 2024 as a Republican or third-party candidate.

Surprisingly Beschloss didn’t ask Cheney if she should run for the Democratic primaries. She could be their best hope at this stage. The obsession with Cheney 2024 didn’t end there. The Washington Post published an article headlined “Liz Cheney’s political life is likely ending – and just beginning.” The Post suggested that Cheney may still run and, if she does, she could steal votes from middle-of-the-road Republicans.

Tom Friedman, a New York Times columnist, suggested that a Joe Biden and Liz Cheney ticket be created for 2024. Friedman stated:

“It’s Israel’s most diverse national unity government, one that spans from Jewish settlers to an Israeli-Arab Islamist Party and super liberals on both the left and right… But, the most important thing is that it holds together, gets stuff done, and mutes the hyperpolarization that made Israel unruly.”

Friedman said that he would like a “unity card” for 2024.

Is that what America really needs in 2024? A ticket of Joe Biden or Liz Cheney?” Or Joe Biden, [Sen.] Lisa Murkowski (R-Alaska], Kamala Harris and [Sen.] Mitt Romney (R-Utah], [Georgia Democratic candidate] Stacey Abrams [Georgia Democratic governor candidate] Liz Cheney, or [Sen.] Amy Klobuchar] [D-Minn.]? Or any other combination.

CNN asked her several times in different interviews whether she would run for president in 2024.

Fox News asked the public what they thought about Cheney running for President. One voter stated that she wouldn’t support Cheney as a dog-catcher.

Another voter stated that she would vote for her. Women are needed to be strong, fair, and capable of making powerful decisions.

Cheney supporter: “Even though she is my choice and I believe she is a better candidate than me, I still believe that Trump did a lot in Wyoming and that we have been hurt by our new President.”

If Cheney runs for president in 2024, she will likely lose the Wyoming primary. Cheney would run as a third-party candidate and her sole objective would be to steal votes from Trump. It will be fascinating to see how the GOP Presidential field unfolds if Trump runs.
