Garage Beer, a rapidly growing independent beer brand, announced on Wednesday that brothers Travis and Jason Kelce had made a significant investment in the business.
ESPN’s Adam Schefter reports that the brothers, who are well-known for their football skills and their podcast “New Heights”, have made their first big investment in business together.
Garage Beer’s press release highlights the crucial role that the brothers will be playing.
The brothers will be joining Garage as investors, partners, and owners. The release states that Jason and Travis are involved in all aspects of the business including sales, marketing, and national expansion. Retail displays, social content, billboards, and other promotional activities will soon be available in stores.

The investment is near home, as the company’s headquarters are in Columbus, Ohio. This is only two hours away from the hometown of the brothers, Cleveland Heights. The company was founded in Cincinnati where the brothers were college football players.
Jason Kelce, former Philadelphia Eagles’ center, said that Garage Beer is a brand that offers both quality and simplicity. Garage Beer is the best for light beer drinkers. The brand is perfect for me. A few beers with the neighbors are a good excuse to catch up.
Travis Kelce, the Kansas City Chiefs’ tight end, also spoke out about his excitement and belief in what this business will bring.
