Vance gave a demonstration on X on how to counter the attacks of the media, especially when they try to divert attention from important issues for American voters.
KamalaHQ.com posted a video showing Vance walking away when reporters pressed him about the controversy surrounding North Carolina Lieutenant Governor: Mark Robinson, the current candidate for governor of North Carolina, was mentioned in a CNN report. The account stated that Vance “rushes to another room” to avoid being asked a question.
Vance skillfully countered this false narrative by explaining that he went to the doctor because he felt sick. He then expertly shifted the focus to Vice President Kamala’s record. Mark Robinson wrote: “My comment about Mark Robinson is that Kamala has cast the deciding votes on the Inflation Explosion Act, and as a result, many Americans cannot afford groceries.”

Robinson’s situation revolves around controversial remarks he made on a message board of a website over ten years ago. He refused to withdraw from the race for governor and denied that he wrote the posts.
Vance’s answer to these questions was the best he could do. He didn’t take the bait by focusing on the Robinson case, but instead, he focused the attention where it belonged: Harris’ poor performance in his role as vice president.
He also focused on the two most important issues facing Americans today, inflation and the economy. The people are more worried about their ability to feed their families than what an old politician said on a forum.
Vance has been slowed down by the media on several occasions with lesser issues. The senator’s response has been to highlight the issues facing our country and Harris’s inability to solve them.
In reality, the press tries to divert attention from these issues because they know that their favorite candidate has no answers and could not implement them competently even if she had. The Biden-Harris Administration has repeatedly shown that it is not prepared to handle important issues such as the economy, immigration and education, crime, and healthcare.
Vance’s strategy must be Trump and his team’s primary response to the media when they try to focus on scandals or other distractions. Team Trump must show the American public that they are focused on what is important to them, rather than going off on useless tangents.
