Iowa Democrat’s Record Of Disrespect Towards Women

The Hawkeye State Democrat has a history of disrespectful behavior toward women, including the accusations that Mike Franken (Iowa’s Democrat U.S. Senate Nominee) made unwelcome advances towards women through his former campaign manager. He continues to deny the accusations while refusing to let the accused go free from the NDA she allegedly signed.

Franken, who is 64, married and has two children, was last week accused by Kimberley Skrope-Boggus (his former campaign manager) of “grabb[ing] her collar of the vest and kissing her on the mouth” during a March meeting at a bar.

Franken denied the allegations numerous times. However, Strope Boggus in the police report described Franken as “old school” with “1950s interactions and women” which was “something he did to many other women.”

The campaign for Sen. Chuck Grassley, long-time Iowa Republican incumbent, released a campaign ad that showed Franken’s demeaning comments towards Iowa’s women. It included Governor Kim Reynolds, whom he implied was a witch.

“We must beat the governor …. She needs to get on her bike and fly away,” Franken stated in a video clip. “I’ll never repeat that phrase again, instead of flying in on my broom.” I’ll never say it.”

The Democrat can also be seen saying, “[Iowa women] just look void.”

Mike Franken claims that he brings civility to politics. Listen to what he has to say about Governor @KimReynoldsIA.

Iowans need a leader who is there for them and not just criticizing them. #GrassleyWorks

Strope-Boggus is not the only one to claim that the Hawkeye Democrat has acted in this manner in the past. Jaylen Cavil of Des Moines, Iowa was a far-left activist who said that “I had heard these things about Mike Franken for a while.”

Cavil said, “Now… A police report alleging Micheal Franken sexually assaulted former campaign manager.”

Here is the DMPD report (pigs), where Franken’s former employee accuses him for assault.

Additionally, the Iowa Democrat also endorsed Al Franken, a disgraced former Senator (D-MN) who resigned after a series of allegations of sexual misconduct by women.

Talk about a badly timed fundraising email …@alfranken at @FrankenforIowa. “#IASen

Laura Belin, an Iowa liberal blogger, posted screenshots of Mike Franken running a Twitter ad from Al Franken.

Breitbart News obtained Mike Franken’s tweet on April 5, 2019. He said that he was curious why Al Franken had left his seat. Please run again.

Franken also suggested, at an event in Denison (Iowa), that Supreme Court Justice Clarence Thomas should have control over his wife and dictate what she can and cannot say or do.

“When you examine Justice Thomas’ and Ginni’s issues, you have to ask yourself, ‘Are they kidding me? Are you kidding? ‘” Franken said. “You are a senior justice responsible for your actions, and you let your wife behave like this …?”

EMILY’s List is a major Democrat political-action committee that focuses on women and said, “Iowa Democrats shouldn’t trust… Michael Franken.” Franken, a former Republican who registered as a Democrat to run for Senate last year, is a Democrat.
