Wilson Cruz, a gay actor, told the Advocate that “we need to come together as never before.” “Kamala Harris’ commitment to our community goes beyond words. “She lives and breathes the fight every single day. I’ve seen this up close.”
The Harris fundraiser will take place at a gay bar on the same date that Algerian fighter Imane Khilif, who was disqualified for the International Boxing Association World Boxing Championships 2023 after failing gender-eligibility checks, defeated Italian Angela Carini, in a boxing bout at the 2024 Paris Olympics, after only 46 seconds of the match.
Democrats are in favor of men competing with women only in sports.
Elon Musk, Tesla CEO and X Owner responded by daring Harris “to deny it” in a post on Thursday.

Harris’ denial that she supports women competing against men is unlikely to be heard by the public anytime soon. The vice president has already boasted of her efforts to not only keep men out of female-only areas but also to make them feel more comfortable there through taxpayer-funded sex-reassignment surgery.
Harris stated, “When I served as Attorney General of California, I discovered that the California Department of Corrections was blocking surgery for prisoners.” “There was one specific case.” When I heard about this case, I did everything I could to make sure the transgender woman received the services she deserved.
Harris continued, “I ensured that the California prison system changed its policy so that all transgender prisoners could receive the medical treatment they needed and wanted.” “It was historic for California, but it could have been the first time in the United States that I had pushed this policy at a Department of Corrections.”
After being charged with raping a female in the shower, a California prisoner living as a man was moved out of a women-only facility in June.
