General Michael Flynn is making efforts to end the latest witch hunt. Flynn has filed a complaint against the House Select Committee for investigating the January 6th Attack On The United States Capitol. He also named all members of the Committee as defendants. According to the Western Journal Flynn “filed a motion [for a temporary restraining order or preliminary injunction] against Nancy Pelosi (D-Smirnoff). It’s refreshing to see someone fight back against American Stalinist Show Trials.
Flynn served as Trump’s National Security Adviser for less than a month. After being a central point in the Russian collusion hoax, he resigned in February 2017. Flynn had not served in Trump’s administration in almost three years and was no longer serving in that capacity. Rabid partisans on the Jan. 6 committee tried to get Flynn involved in something that he wasn’t qualified for.
According to the Western Journal, Flynn received a subpoena “mailed in November.” The Subpoena ordered Flynn to produce documents. The Subpoena required Flynn to respond to 20 broad and vague demands, which covered a year as well as a quarter. Flynn must respond to this request by November 23, 2021. The court also directed General Flynn that he appear at a deposition to be held on December 6, 2020.
This is absurd, as Flynn was not a Trump player. Flynn’s involvement in “insurrection” planning would have been extremely unlikely (as it has been proven).
Why is the Jan.6 committee and Pelosi so focused on Flynn? Flynn’s complaint suggests Flynn might have doubted the legitimacy and integrity of the 2020 presidential elections. These beliefs are not illegal. You can share them with others to help you get along with those who hold the same views.
Flynn was therefore targeted by political elites with so much intensity and persistence. They had to ensure Flynn’s time as NSA was very short before he could conduct a thorough cleaning of the Obama-era staff responsible for making terrible decisions such as the brilliant idea to aid jihad terrorists in Syria. Trump fired Flynn, and it looked like his enemies had won. The Russian collusion hoax was unraveled by Flynn’s witch-hunt.
Flynn was targeted by the Jan. 6 committee, which shows that they still view Flynn as a threat. This is a significant challenge to their views on the world and America-Last assumptions which underlie the Left’s foreign policy. Flynn was not provided basic assistance by the Jan.6 committee, which clearly wants to discredit him as well as his reputation. Flynn inquired about the subpoena, but the complaint stated that the Jan.6 Committee “stupidly refused” to provide any clarification or to cooperate in resolving these issues.
Flynn now faces contempt of Congress allegations after refusing to take part in the witch-hunt. The complaint states that General Flynn is caught between two options that could result in criminal prosecution by The Department of Justice. One, in a continuing criminal investigation or a new prosecution for contempt of Congress.
Flynn’s motion against Pelosi claims that he did not participate in the Jan. 6th, 2020 protests, rallies, or incursions and that the subpoena is “an attack on Flynn’s constitutional rights.” It’s absurd to believe that Nancy Pelosi worries about constitutional rights, especially those of her coworkers who have been made scapegoats. Flynn should be freed from this targeted legal harassment, which we can only hope.
