Fox Can’t Escape Carlson’s Shadow, Even With New Lineup

Fox News Channel has finally released its new schedule after “parting ways” with Tucker Carlson back in April.

The network rotates people into the Carlson slot at 8 p.m., and there are many questions as to what they will do for a permanent replacement.

Fox News Media CEO Suzanne Scott has officially announced the new lineup that will begin on July 17.

The Ingraham Angle with Laura Ingraham kicks off the show at 7 p.m. ET and will be followed by “Jesse Waters Primetime”, which moves to 8 p.m. “Hannity”, however, will continue to air at 9 p.m ET.

“FOX News Channel is America’s premier destination for news and analyses for over 21 years. We are excited to introduce a new lineup. Laura Ingraham’s unique perspective, Jesse Watters’, Sean Hannity’s, and Greg Gutfeld’s, will provide our viewers with unrivaled news coverage for many years to come,” Scott said.

Trace Gallagher is scheduled to finish the evening at 11 pm. As they talked about the new line-up, they also thanked all of their staff.

Watters and Gutfeld continue to host “The Five” in addition to other shows.

Will this help them recover from what they did by cutting Tucker Carlson off? I don’t believe so. It’s difficult to replace Tucker Carlson and the way things went down still annoys viewers. They won’t forgive as easily.

Fox’s ratings have dropped since then. After 120 weeks of Fox being the top-rated network, MSNBC’s primetime viewership beat Fox’s in mid-June.

The latest news isn’t helping them. They are reportedly demanding that “all pictures and videos of Tucker Carlson” along with “violent footage of crime scenes that included guns or shots” be removed before the network will advertise Republican Presidential candidate and Mayor of Miami Francis Suarez. This is not going to make them popular with their former viewers either.

It’s hilarious that Tucker Carlson has launched his show on Twitter that is outperforming Fox. Fox filed a cease-and-desist order because they claim Carlson still has a contract with them. Carlson, however, claims that it is Fox who has broken the contract. His Twitter show, which offers opinions on subjects like Hunter Biden’s plea deal and Robert F. Kennedy Jr., is far more popular than anything else on Fox. Even former Fox staffers have been reported to be leaving the company to join Tucker in whatever he does next. This can’t please Fox.

Fox can introduce its new lineup. You can try and erase Tucker Carlson’s story. It won’t work and the American public will not forget.
