Fox reported that the FBI raided Brianna Suggs’ home on Thursday. She was a major fundraiser for New York City mayor Eric Adams.
Suggs’ LinkedIn profile listed her as a “Fundraiser” and “Director of Logistics” for Adams’ mayoral campaign in 2021. According to the campaign finance records of Adams 2025, Suggs Solutions LLC was also paid $98,286.20 by that campaign.
Both the U.S. Attorney’s Office for Southern District and the FBI declined to comment about the operation.
Vito Pitta stated that the campaign always adhered to high standards. The campaign will, of course, comply with any inquiry as appropriate.
Adams tweeted an audio clip with the caption: “On my way from D.C., to meet my fellow mayors and talk to our federal partners about this asylum seeker crisis.”
Adams, seated in an aircraft clip, said: “We will keep you informed as the day progresses.”
In an email sent later, a spokesperson for the Mayor stated that “the mayor returned to New York City in order to address a particular matter.”
The spokesperson stated that “these meetings will be rescheduled in the shortest time possible.”
Suggs was not available for immediate comment.
