The Democratic Party’s current agenda can be summarized as: “We destroyed democracy to save it.”
This effort has a common theme. Any means necessary to stop the people from electing their president are justified, given that there is a fear that a large majority of voters might choose Trump.
Some anti-democratic paranoia is outsourced to local and state officials, and even prosecutors to remove Trump from the ballots for the general election and the primaries.
Shenna Bellows is a Democrat who was never elected and is not a lawyer. She has issued a legal edict. She has deemed Trump guilty of “insurrection.”
She then removed his name from the ballot.
Trump has never been charged with “insurrection” or even convicted of it.
Bellows’ citation is from the 14th Amendment, which was enacted after the Civil War. The 14th Amendment was passed more than a century ago. The opposition party never intended to use it in an election year to disbar an opposing presidential candidate.
In Colorado, the all Democrat Supreme Court voted 4-3 to remove Trump from the ballot.
Just five officials from two states have deprived 7 million Americans of the right to vote for their preferred president.
Trump is still leading incumbent president Joe Biden by a wide margin in the polls.
Indictments can be used to dissuade Americans from voting against Trump or for him.
Four leftist prosecutors, three from state and one from federal, have currently indicted Trump.
They have petitioned courts to speed up the legal process, which is usually slow, to ensure that Trump will be confined to Atlanta, Miami, New York, Washington, D.C., and other courtrooms for the entire 2024 election cycle.
They want to prevent Trump from running for office since he is facing four left-wing prosecutors and four liberal judges as well as four or five jury pools that are overwhelmingly Democratic.
All indictments, however, are increasingly marred by controversy if not scandal.
Georgia prosecutor Fani Willis ran a campaign on promises that she would get Trump. She faces accusations that she handed over the prosecution to a personal injury lawyer who is not qualified – her boyfriend, who has been paid handsomely and accompanied her on expensive junkets.
Letitia James, a partisan New York Attorney General who also ran for office with the promise to destroy Trump, was a candidate as well.
She claims absurdly that Trump undervalued the value of his real estate as collateral with a bank. It made the loan and profited, but had no complaints, given that Trump paid the principal and interest required.
Alvin Bragg, Manhattan’s prosecutor, is now even more desperate. He now accuses Trump of campaign finance violations that occurred nearly a decade earlier, claiming that a nondisclosure contract with a purported homosexual liaison counts as a violation.
Jack Smith, a federal special prosecutor, claims that Trump should be found guilty of removing classified papers improperly after leaving office. In the past, disagreements about presidential papers were settled bureaucratically.
Biden, for instance, took classified files out of their secure locations after leaving the Senate or vice presidency. He did this for more than a decade.
These prosecutors are all unapologetic anti-Trump progressives.
Some people have communicated with White House legal eagles even though Biden will likely face Trump in November’s election.
Some prosecutors themselves are facing scandals, if they’re not controversies. Some prosecutors want to coordinate their long-drawn investigations and indictments to undermine the Trump reelection campaign.
Biden, Trump’s rival, has also been known to try and neutralize Trump.
He has called Trump an insurrectionist, and he has accused him of many crimes against democracy. Biden has even appointed his attorney general to bring charges against Trump for the federal charges relating to the demonstrations of January 6, a dead horse that Biden continues to beat to death periodically to scare voters.
Biden regularly slanders the half of America that voted for or supported Trump as “ultra mega” extremists, and “semi-fascists”, who will destroy democracy.
The more Biden and his Leftist allies weaponize the court system to stop Trump from running and the louder Biden shouts and yells about Trump supporters being anti-Americans and anti-democrats, the higher Trump rises in the polls, while Biden falls.
The left knows in private that Trump’s popularity is growing because of its unprecedented strangulation against democracy. Like an addict, the left cannot stop its Trump fix.
The Left creates anti-democratic, historic precedents that will one day boomerang against Democrats if Republicans win the election in November and adopt the new Democrat model for extra-legal politics.
Democrats are tearing the country apart in a way not seen since the Civil War. They believe that democracy is untrustworthy and must therefore be sacrificed to destroy Trump.
