The FBI raid on Donald Trump’s Mar-a-Lago Florida house was a wake-up call for White House Press Secretary Karinejean-Pierre. She repeatedly claimed that no one from Joe Biden had been involved in the investigation and knew nothing about the raid.

According to the news memos, the Biden White House worked directly with the Justice Department and National Archives to open a criminal probe into Trump’s mishandling of classified papers. This investigation would also deny Trump’s claims of executive privilege.

These memos show that Jonathan Su, the White House Deputy Counsel at the time, was involved in conversations with the FBI, DOJ, and National Archives in April. This happened shortly after 15 boxes containing classified material were returned from Trump’s Florida home to the federal historic organization.

In May, Su informed the Archives that President Joe Biden would not object to his predecessor’s executive claims. DOJ was able to request a grand jury to issue an order for Trump to turn over any material he had during his presidency.

These machinations are summarized in several memos and emails that were sent between agencies in spring 2022. This was several months before the FBI used a warrant from the court to raid Trump’s Florida compound.

Debra Stewart, Acting National Archivist sent a May 10, 2017 letter to Trump’s lawyers, outlining the White House’s involvement.

Wall stated that the White House Counsel’s Office confirmed a Department of Justice request and was supported by an FBI memo on letterhead. NARA requested that it grant NARA access to the 15 boxes within seven days. The FBI could also request specific documents following its review of these boxes.

John Solomon of Just the News reports, “Revealed Biden empowered the National Archives and Records Administration to waive any executive privilege claims that Trump might wage to prevent DOJ access. ”

The White House lies a lot. This was done in order to eliminate any legal defense Trump’s team might use in a fight against the FBI to gain access to the documents.

Biden’s decision not to invoke executive privilege on Trump documents was unusual and suspect at the time. But, it was widely believed at the time that Biden had done this to allow the J6 Committee access to Trump documents.

The scandal has only gotten worse.
