Joe Biden, the president of the United States, claimed Friday that he was vice president when he ran for presidency.
Biden stated that he had not planned to run for president again. Jill Biden was also present at the event.
Biden said, “I ran while I was vice-president, and then — Barack spent eight years with me — then came the new administration, and things changed in my life and in our family.” “I lost my son. Our son was killed in Iraq. “I didn’t plan to run.”
Biden didn’t run for president during the 2012 or 2016 presidential elections, which took place when he was vice president of the United States. Biden announced, in October 2015, that he would not run for the Democratic nomination in the 2016 presidential election. Donald Trump won the election.
Biden repeated that his son Beau died in Iraq, when in fact he passed away from brain cancer in Delaware in 2015. Biden claims that the exposure to Iraqi burn pits caused the cancer which killed the former Delaware Attorney General.
The White House didn’t immediately respond to the Daily Caller News Foundation’s request for comment.
