The administration surprises patriotic Americans with a shocking move. Miami was the latest instance of the administration’s preference for hostile nations.

NewsNation reported that “Miami’s leaders were outraged at the unannounced U.S. Department of State trip by the Biden Administration, which hosted Cuban officials in the secure areas of Miami International Airport.”

The report states that “On Monday, five Cuban officials were reportedly allowed to inspect the TSA checkpoint at Miami International Airport and the baggage screening area.” The tour lasted approximately five hours.

Five hours to get a tour of the secure areas at an American airport. The U.S. considers Cuba to be a state-sponsored terrorist organization since 2021.

The announcement read, “The State Department designated Cuba as a State sponsor of terrorism for providing repeated support for acts of international terrorism by granting safe harbor to terrorists,” from the U.S. embassy in Cuba on Jan. 11, 2021. The announcement continued, “For decades the Cuban government fed, housed, and provided medical treatment for murderers and bombmakers while many Cubans are hungry, homeless and without basic medicines.”

You may have noticed something about the timing. On his way out, Donald Trump, the old threat to democracy, tagged Cuba as a “state sponsor” of terrorism.

The TSA claimed that it “routinely worked with all countries having direct flights to the United States,” however, the Miami airport tour brought about the expected outrage.

Marco Rubio, R-Fla., said that only under the Biden Administration would they have allowed a terrorist regime to enter our secure facilities in one of America’s busiest airports.

Jennifer Coffindaffer, NewsNation’s law and justice reporter, said she was “appalled” at the tour. She added, “To believe that any official would allow foreign individuals to enter our airport operations areas and one of our main airports is a serious security risk.”

Cuban officials claimed that the terrorist designation was responsible for the economic problems on the island. Of course, we all know that Cuba’s poverty has nothing to do with the decades-long Communist regime. Joe Biden, a fellow authoritarian, was sympathetic to the authoritarians of Havana.

The Biden administration removed Cuba from the list last week of countries that “do not cooperate fully” in the fight against terror. Will the next step be to remove a “state sponsor” of terrorism?

Secretary of State Antony Blinken responded to this question during a House hearing held on Wednesday. Rep. Maria Salazar, R-Fla., asked Blinken whether he would “check them off of the main blacklist, which is a terrorist list for sponsors terrorism” and he replied, “Not seeing any happening by July 21.”

Would the TSA permit Russian representatives to peek through the curtains at an airport? What about Iran? How about Iran? I’m sure we know the answers to these questions. But if our administration allowed Cuban officials to see the security apparatus of the United States, it is impossible to tell.
