The State Department issued a worldwide warning for Americans on Thursday as tensions rise due to the ongoing Israel/Hamas conflict.
In its alert message, the department warned of “potential terrorist attacks, violent demonstrations or actions against U.S. interests and citizens”.
The State Department urged U.S. Citizens abroad to “exercise greater caution” after the State Department increased its travel advisory for Lebanon earlier this week and warned Americans not to travel to the country due to increased protests as well as the instability of the security situation.
Hezbollah is a terrorist group based in Lebanon that has been exchanging rockets with the Israeli army for almost two weeks.
