An assassin attempted to kill Donald Trump on Saturday. He played golf on Sunday and flew to Milwaukee to attend the Republican Nation Committee Convention, which is scheduled to begin Monday. It speaks for itself.

View from the cockpit of Trump Force One as the soon-to-be GOP nominee touches down:

The bobblehead is on the instrument panel. The motorcade then enters the city.

The former president changed his plans after the horrific assassination. He wrote, “I had planned to delay my trip from Wisconsin to The Republican National Convention by two days. But I have decided to not allow a potential assassin to change the schedule or anything else.” He changed his mind.

He appeared to be in great shape as he ascended the steps of his Boeing 757.

The former president will be the focus of attention as he prepares to deliver a major address, announce his running mate, and accept the GOP presidential nomination. Speakers include Sens. Ron Johnson (R – WI), Tom Cotton (R – AR) and Ted Cruz (R – TX) are scheduled to speak, as well as House Speaker Mike Johnson(R – LA), former Fox News host Tucker Carlson, Turning Point USA CEO Charlie Kirk and country musician Lee Greenwood. Also, former presidential candidate Vivek RAMASWAMY and former businessman Vivek Ramaswamy will be speaking. Two of Trump’s main rivals for the nomination, Florida Gov. Ron DeSantis (former South Carolina Governor) and Nikki Haley, former South Carolina governor have been invited to the event despite reports earlier that they were not.

Considering that he was nearly killed on Saturday, viewers and attendees will pay special attention to how Trump looks physically. Early reports indicate that he is doing fine.

Joe Biden, on the other hand, has given two speeches since the Trump assassination attempt. While he blamed a toxic political climate for the incident, he did not blame his own divisive and incendiary speech where he has regularly said that half of America was hell-bent on destroying the nation and that Trump is a threat to democracy. These are not words that will calm the passions.

This week promises to be interesting.
