We can already smell the Democrats’ desperation as we approach the election. They are so desperate that they can’t seem to let go of the McDonald’s issue.
Leftists are still reeling from Donald Trump’s attack on Vice President Kamala Harris for her claim that she had worked at McDonald’s in her college days.
Democrats were so worried about the issue over the weekend, that they circulated a doctored picture on social media that appeared to show the vice president in her McDonald’s uniform.

It looks like the image is correct until you dig a little deeper. The creator of the image appears to have taken it from a photograph of a Canadian named Suzanne Bernier. The family had used the image in Bernier’s obituary following her death.
Community Notes, however, sprang to action and exposed this lie. They noted that the image had been digitally altered to make it look as though Harris was posing with a McDonald’s outfit.

What if it didn’t work out as they had hoped?
Not only Community Notes revealed the deception. X placed a warning labeling the image as digitally manipulated on the post.
According to X’s rules and policy, users “may not share manipulated or synthetic media that could deceive people or confuse them and cause harm” We may also label posts that contain misleading media in order to help people understand the authenticity of those posts and provide additional context.
These people were desperate enough to use a photo of a dead woman to promote a political agenda.
The stunt Trump pulled in Pennsylvania earlier this month when he went to McDonald’s to get some hot and crispy fries to eat to prove Harris’ dubious claims about working there, was probably the inspiration for this effort. This was done to mock Harris but it also helped Trump appeal to the average person.
People on the left responded with their usual wailing and grunting of teeth. They condemned Trump for his daring to wear a McDonald’s uniform and serve customers through the drive-through. Some even tried to close the restaurant by posting negative reviews on Yelp. The online dating site quickly shut down the account, so the left has failed yet again.
The whole thing is an act of desperation by Harris’ supporters who are aware that there is a real possibility she could lose the election. When they lie, they must believe that they are losing.
