The arrest follows the recent kidnapping and abduction of a young girl in Houston.
An 11-year-old boy named Audrii Cunningham was remembered at a memorial service on Saturday. The death of the boy is suspected to be due to a family member with a violent past.
Don McDougal has been charged with capital murder for Cunningham’s demise. The prosecution claims that he was to have taken her to school the day she vanished on February 15. Her body was discovered in a river near Houston, Texas, on February 20.
