Tim Walz, the vice-presidential nominee and governor of Minnesota, showed up at the Pennsylvania Democratic National Convention delegate breakfast on Monday without being invited. His purpose?
It’s not enough to make you dry heave. It gets better.
Walz stated, “We have the opportunity to thank the best president I’ve ever seen, a man who has delivered on his promises time and again, a person who did the selfless thing of passing the torch to incredible leaders.”
The speech was sandwiched in between that of the governor and his counterpart from Michigan. Josh Shapiro, along with other high-profile governors including JB Pritzker from Illinois and Gretchen Whitmer from Michigan.
The Harris campaign reported that Walz made an unexpected appearance earlier in the day at the Wisconsin Delegate Breakfast, where Senate Majority Leader Chuck Schumer and Wisconsin Governor. Tony Evers and Maryland Gov. Wes Moore, New York Governor Kathy Hochul.
The question is, “What do you want to thank me for?” As it happens, I’ve got some thoughts about that. That’s more I can say about Tim Walz.
Let’s thank Joe for his help.
Joe, thank you for the highest inflation rate in 40 years. Thank you for the nearly 40% increase in prices of food, gasoline, heating oils, and natural gases. In the Susitna Valley in 2021, gasoline cost around $2 per gallon. It’s now nearing $4 per gallon. I would also like to point out that we have huge oil and natural gas reserves in the Great Land that your administration is doing everything possible to close down. While we’re at it, what about groceries? You’re welcome to blame retailers who work on razor-thin margins for inflation.
Joe, thank you for the disastrous departure from Afghanistan. It was one of the biggest military mistakes since Pickett’s Charge. Your brilliant political generals abandoned a major military airhead and forced the evacuation through a commercial terminal in the middle of Kabul. This cluster of errors cost 13 American servicemen and women their lives and left behind state-of-the-art equipment worth billions that is still being used by the Taliban today.
Joe, while we’re at it, thank you for turning our military into a DEI-ridden job program for the neurotic. Since the end of World War II, the United States Navy has patrolled the sea lanes. Since the Cold War ended, many countries have lived in de facto Pax Americana because they knew that the United States was the most capable of finding and eliminating bad guys. This is not true anymore. Readiness has been compromised, and the rot will be hard to cut.
Let’s thank Joe Biden, then, for being the worst president in recent memory. This includes Barack Obama and Jimmy Carter. Let’s give him credit for holding on to power despite his rapid decline into dementia. His attempt at a debate with a president was so embarrassing, that even Democrats couldn’t pass by it. Let’s thank the man for choosing a clucking imbecile to be his vice president, and then for imposing her upon us as the former president. If the republic is unfortunate, he could even become the next president.
Thanks, Joe!
