Pete Buttigieg Under Fire: Transportation Secretary Criticized by Policy Experts Before DNC Speech

The Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg will speak on Wednesday night at the third night of the Democrat National Convention. This DNC convention is tinged with desperation after the barrage of lies, falsehoods, and bizarre speeches, as well as the stoking and fluffing up of an angry and failing Joe Biden. Even with Kamala Harris’ basement campaign, and their intention to cheat (you already know this is true), it seems like they still aren’t sure they have the victory in hand.

The Democrats don’t seem to have any real policies. They barely speak of the inflation, crime, and open borders they have created under their watch. And they can’t keep Trump out of their mouths.

Buttigieg is on lockdown and will probably be limited to only 5-10 minutes. Buttigieg was removed as a VP candidate because they needed that white working-class vote. Next to Energy Secretary Jennifer Granholm, (notice her NO main stage speech slot), Buttigieg’s failures and follies as Biden-Harris’ Transportation Secretary did nothing but damage to this voting block.

The Center for Transportation Policy has a lot of energy and is always on the move. The Center for Transportation Policy has taken it upon itself to remind Americans of the failures in infrastructure and tragedies under the watch of Transportation Secretary Pete Buttigieg. I’ve said it before: no one, except for the most ardent partisan, remembers the name or the administration of any Transportation Secretary, Democrat, or Republican. Pete Buttigieg will be forever remembered for his involvement with the CTC. He is a reflection of Biden-Harris’s failure and what we might expect from a Harris/Walz administration.

CTC wants to achieve this.

The release is part of the ongoing campaign by the watchdog to hold the DOT responsible for its poor track record and bad policy. The video shows a montage highlighting the transportation disasters that occurred under Buttigieg’s watch. These include the collapse of the Baltimore Bridge, the derailment of a train in East Palestine, Ohio in February 2023, and the recurrent passenger train breakdowns in New York during the summer.

Contrary to glowing headlines that praise Pete Buttigieg the Department of Transportation drops the ball. According to the Federal Government, there were an average of three train derailments per day last year. This type of record is unacceptable,” stated CTP executive director Jackson Shedelbower. “The Department of Transportation must be held accountable for their poor performance.”

WATCH:

Remember that President Joe Biden, and VP Kamalah Harris, barely acknowledged the damage caused by Norfolk Southern’s derailment, which dumped toxic chemicals into the water, and soil, of East Palestine, OH, and displaced thousands of residents. Donald Trump, the former president and GOP nominee, not only acknowledged the pain of the victims but also visited the area shortly after the tragedy in February 2023. Biden, however, waited an entire year to visit the region. Secretary Pete had shown his raggedy rear-ends shortly after. And Cackling Kamala? MIA as usual. Even among workers who are doing the cleanup, there have been reports of health problems.

Buttigieg’s terrible management of the national infrastructure is another failure of Biden and Harris. Buttigieg will not mention “racist roads” or how safe America is under Harris. Expect him to highlight his fight for “people’s rights” about the airline scandals and his call for action on the cleanup of East Palestine, or the rapid rebuilding of the Baltimore Bridge. You may also hear that he and Chasten were only able to become parents thanks to IVF, and how the evil Republicans are trying to take away this miracle.

You can bet on it. CTC has also published a factsheet listing all the tragedies that occurred under Buttigieg. This and the CTC advertisement will hopefully further dispel the DNC’s illusion that Harris is competent, experienced, or has the judgment to lead the nation.
