In a recent appearance with professional race-baiter Jesse Jackson, Vice President Kamala Harris has proven once again that her grasp of history is as solid as a wet noodle.
In a statement that can only be described as a spectacular misfire, Harris declared that Jackson was the inventor of the modern woke LGBT rainbow movement. Yes, you read that right. According to the esteemed VP, Jesse Jackson, a man whose focus has been primarily on racial issues, was the one who “defined the rainbow.”

Harris in her infinite wisdom stated: “[Jesse Jackson] was audacious enough to call this coalition the National Rainbow Coalition — just think about it. He was the first person to define the rainbow.
Let’s unpack that for a minute. Jackson’s “National Rainbow Coalition”, a group that focused on racial differences, not sexuality, was the movement he spearheaded. Harris seems to believe that “rainbow” had no meaning prior to Jackson’s arrival.
It’s a curious statement, considering that LGBT issues were hardly a blip on the radar when Jackson was starting out. Not to mention, the African American community, which Jackson primarily represents, has historically not prioritized LGBT issues. But hey, why let facts get in the way of a good story, right?
It’s hard to believe that Harris was able to reach the position of Vice President with such a faulty grasp of historical facts. Was it her charismatic personality? Was it her political acumen or charisma? Maybe Joe Biden picked her because she was drunk?
Harris is always a great source of laughter. She never fails to entertain, whether it’s with her unique interpretations or her uncanny knack for missing the mark. Here’s to Kamala Harris – the unintentional comic of the political stage. You are always entertaining, even if your performances are often cringe-worthy.
