Since Monday’s stock market plunge, Vice President Kamala Harris and her presidential campaign have posted on X more than a dozen posts. However, none of these posts has addressed the sudden crash.
On Monday, the Dow Jones Industrial, S&P 500, and Nasdaq composite all experienced sharp drops that dominated the news cycle throughout the day. Harris, her campaign, and her husband have all ignored the worrying market trend that is causing Americans to be fearful.
They chose to use social media instead, posting about fundraising and a coffee blend called “First Gentleman’s Blend” and launching attacks on Republican Presidential nominee, former President Donald Trump, and Vice Presidential nominee, Sen. JDVance (OH).
Harris’s X page, for example, had only two posts as of 4 p.m. on Monday. After the sharp drop in the stock market, ET was a few hours later. She posted a fundraiser page after she had attacked Trump in an earlier post.
Generations of Americans before us led the fight for freedom.
Now the baton is in our hands—each and every one of us.

Let’s be clear: Someone who suggested the “termination” of the Constitution should never have the chance to stand behind the seal of the President of the United States.
Never again.

Harris posted just one message on her government’s official account, “@VP”, Monday. It was about “workplaces” and union wages.
When union wages go up, everyone’s wages go up.
When union workplaces are safer, all workplaces are safer.
And when unions are strong, America is strong. pic.twitter.com/jlRmCtAfG9

Just after 10:30 a.m. Emhoff shared a photo of himself holding “First Gentleman’s Blend,” a bag of “signature blend” coffee. This would be Emhoff’s title if Harris were to become president.

Harris’s campaign account posted several messages after the market dropped off on Monday. However, most were directed at Trump or Vance and none addressed this financial catastrophe.
Ten posts were sent between 10:25 and 4:15 a.m. The campaign sent out ten posts between 10:25 a.m. ET. Seven of the tweets were directed at Trump. Two focused on Vance and one highlighted new volunteers.
Fox guest: We see over 177,000 new volunteers fired up ready to go for Kamala Harris. The campaign raised a record amount of money, $310 million. You see bipartisan support for her, including Republicans for Harris that just launched pic.twitter.com/1KhkJyjaUM

Republican Mayor of Mesa, Arizona: My city would not be well served by a second Trump presidency. In the best interest of my city, it was important that I speak up. Silence in is not an option. I am endorsing Kamala Harris pic.twitter.com/VAMliqkHvv

Vance slammed Harris’ silence in an X post, asking “#WheresKamala.”
This moment could trigger a global economic catastrophe. He wrote that it requires steady leadership, the kind that President Trump provided for four years.
He added, “Kamala Harris cannot lead us during these difficult times because she is afraid to answer questions from the media.”
