Kamala Harris’ campaign is on the brink of collapse, and she and her advisors are desperate to find ways to reach men voters. Their latest brilliant idea? Rep. Alexandria Ocasio Cortez and Gov. Tim Walz “playing” Madden on a live stream.
As silly as you could imagine. Walz even suggested that Ocasio Cortez could be the Speaker of the House in a Harris administration. I’ve seen some phony political stunts, but this one may be the least authentic of all.

They stopped playing at the halftime break, and nobody scored a point. The youth football coach himself, who would have easily beaten someone so unaffiliated as Ocasio Cortez in football, failed to score a single point.
But the embarrassment did not end there. Walz had sent a tweet that was so embarrassing that it got deleted.

It would be wrong of me to doubt the credentials of someone as honest as Tim Walz. But I’m starting to wonder if he has ever coached football. The post says “AOC is an expert pick 6 player,” as if “pick 6” was a play that you “run.” Remember that this guy made his time as an “assistant” coach at a high school the centerpiece of his story.
With that in mind, yes, I do understand that this post was probably written by a Gen-Z intern with no football knowledge who has never seen a game. But isn’t it worse? Inauthenticity is the biggest problem facing Harris’ campaign. Harris is notorious for being overly manufactured, and utterly vapid. Walz, who has repeatedly misled the public about his past, is no better. Their campaign does not need more proof that it is as fake as Joe Biden’s hair.
But let’s be honest. Who did Ocasio Cortez expect to see at that Madden session? The scene was hilarious for any man who enjoys watching people play virtual soccer on Twitch. Walz was unable to score against Ocasio Cortez, who wasn’t playing. I believe that men who are persuadable can see through all of this.
Walz has been a bad choice for the presidential ticket. Harris was already dealing with enough problems. She needed someone sophisticated and politically aware to counteract her weaknesses. She chose a sideshow who is unable to even appeal to his supposed demographic. Walz’s selection will be a key factor in Donald Trump winning this election.
