Harris Exposes Biden’s Gun Control Agenda

Did I call it or what? When news reports were published about the Biden administration forming an Office of Gun Violence Prevention, it was obvious to me and others that this wasn’t really about curbing gun violence, but an effort to further limit the right to keep and bear arms.

The White House announced on Friday the creation of this office, which will be headed by none other than Kamala Harris, Vice President. Harris confirmed my suspicions with a video on the same date.

Hey, everybody. Let me share some exciting news. We are announcing that the White House Office for Gun Violence Prevention will be the first of its kind. We are doing this work largely because of your activism, organizing, marching, and voting, whether you’re students, parents, or teachers. We’ll work together on this. We will continue to fight to ensure that gun safety laws are reasonable and to allow all people the freedom to live their lives without fear or violence. You are appreciated for everything you’ve done and will continue to do.

What do I mean?

Harris and those who share her views believe that the best way to combat gun violence is to disarm anyone who does not use a firearm to commit violent crimes. This strategy has failed for many years. The anti-gunners still insist that limiting gun ownership is the solution. Their true goal is to disarm people under the pretext of combating gun violence.

There is one silver lining to this story. It is likely that the new entity will fail if Vice President Harris is in charge of its quest to limit gun possession. Harris is a dreadful leader for this initiative. She has repeatedly shown that she lacks the skills and experience to carry out these initiatives. Look at the way she handled the border crisis.

Even so, we see that the Biden administration is still trying to get around Congress, which has not passed legislation to implement the radical anti-gunner agenda of the president. The White House was not satisfied with the background check law passed last year.

The administration was forced to find other ways to make it more difficult for Americans who are responsible to own and carry guns. This has been made possible by the ATF. It has not been as successful in stopping gun violence as McDonald’s was at curing diabetes.

This is not meant to minimize the seriousness of violent crime or the danger it poses to the public. Mass shootings have been on the rise across the country. Gun violence is on the rise, especially in urban areas. The government must act to protect people who live in constant fear of violent crimes. The only way to do this is by addressing the causes of violent crime and cracking down on violent criminals. This new office won’t do any of that, because it won’t prevent regular people from owning firearms.
