Actor Freddie Prinze Jr. stated in a Wednesday interview, that he was “miserable” while filming “I Know What You did Last summer”, a 1997 horror film.

Deadline reported that Prinze Jr. was the first big role in motion-picture productions, and that he launched his acting career. TooFab interviewed him about his film’s production schedule. He said it was frustrating because of clashes with Jim Gillespie (the filmmaker).

“There wasn’t any passive aggressiveness –which I hate — (the Director) was very clear in saying that”’I don’t want you to be in this movie. You could get to work if your attitude was right.

Prinze Jr. shared his podcast about how filming “I Know what You Did Last Summer” was a struggle every day. Prinze Jr. shared his near-death story filming from a boat.

“I nearly caught a plane and flew home.”

Prinze Jr. says the film helped him meet Sarah Michelle Gellar over 25 years later. I am here because of the pain and how hard I tried.

Gillespie stated that Prinze Jr. wasn’t his favorite during a 2017 interview with Digital Spy. Freddie was screen-tested four to five times more.
