The state of our major cities continues to deteriorate. Basic services, such as law enforcement, have been thrown into disarray due in part to the efforts by deep-blue politicians who “defund” police and Soros-backed prosecutors that run the revolving-door justice systems.
A Chicago mom was left waiting for four hours for officers to arrive after masked bandits attempted to burglarize her house. Fortunately for her, the would-be crooks fled when confronted, but things could have ended very differently:
A Chicago mother who called 911 after a terrifying break-in was left on her own for several hours. She was told to call her local representative to demand more police funding.
Michelle, who was confronted by masked robbers six times, called the emergency line. The supervisor informed her that severe budget cuts had left the city’s staff with no resources.
Michelle refused to disclose her identity or name to NBC Chicago on Wednesday. Her would-be thieves remain at large.
He recommended that I call my alderman. I explained why, and he responded to encourage him to hire more police. I was asked if I had a gun, or if I thought of getting one.
Michelle saw the thieves, and she shouted that she would call the police. The thieves fled.
Michelle reported that two strangers broke into her home at 12:30 pm through an open back door after she let her dog out.
After climbing a six-foot fence, the burglars were captured on the surveillance camera “moseying” up to the property. They fled quickly after discovering that the homeowner was inside the house.
Michelle remembers: “I screamed I am calling the police and they fled. ”
Michelle, her neighbor, and their chasing after the men did not follow through on her promise.
The Chicago police officers “apologized” upon their arrival.
After an hour and a half of waiting, after six 911 calls and a supervisor who explained that the police department lacked funding to respond quickly, she finally received answers.
It would be another two and a half hours before the police arrived.
Michelle said that the officers were concerned about her and apologized to her for their tardiness.
It’s not the fault of police officers that they are overstaffed and overwhelmed.
Michelle’s best advice to you was to arm yourself.
It is not difficult to imagine the severity of the situation if the criminals hadn’t been so easily deterred. The police are caught between Charybis Scylla in terms of how to inform the public about the problems they are facing.
Michelle should arm herself. These same jurisdictions are more likely to punish those who use violence to defend themselves than the goblins responsible for the incident.
Chicago will also be hosting the Democratic National Convention in August. This is a very interesting choice.
