According to an anonymous source in the US intelligence community, Mykola Zochevsky, founder of Burisma Holdings, was believed to be a Russian Foreign Intelligence Service asset. He allegedly paid $10 million to Joe and Hunter Biden between 2015 and 2016, in exchange for Joe Biden, then Vice President, helping to fire Ukrainian prosecutor Viktor Shokin. Official said:

“The US Intelligence Community has a high level of confidence in its assessment of Zlochevsky’s status as SVR. It is not a brand-new assessment. The intelligence community was aware of this under Obama, and Obama had been briefed about it. Joe Biden, Victoria Nuland, and others were also briefed.”

In an exclusive June 2021 story about the defection by Chinese counterintelligence official Dong Jingwei to the United States, it was reported there were “terabytes” worth of data Jingwei had brought with him. This included information about “details related to meetings US government officials (possibly unwittingly), had with Chinese spies or members of Russia’s SVR.”

Chuck Grassley, R-IA, revealed on Monday that a “foreigner” who was mentioned by a confidential source in an FD-1023 document claimed to have bribed Hunter Biden and Joe Biden. He also had 17 audio recordings of conversations he had with them regarding the arrangement. The recordings were made as an “insurance policy” by the man. It is not known if the FBI has copies.

Marjorie Taylor Greene and Nancy Mace of the House said last week that Zlochevsky is the foreign national listed on the FD-1023.

Zlochevsky, in addition to founding Burisma, was Ukraine’s Ecology and National Resources minister from July 2010 until April 2012. He also served as Deputy Secretary for the National Security and Defense Council between April 2012 and February 2014. In April 2014, he appointed Hunter Biden as a member of the Burisma Board. Later that month, his UK assets were seized by Serious Fraud Office in connection with a corruption probe into Ukraine’s ex-President Viktor Yanukovich. On Monday, Rep. James Comer, the Chair of the House Oversight Committee, issued a subpoena for Devon Archer. Devon Archer was Hunter Biden’s business partner at the time and had been named to the Burisma Board.
