The fact that demonstrators would go out on the street to praise Hamas, under the pretense of supporting Palestine, was predictable. On and off campus, we expected young, indoctrinated, and ignorant people to start a victory dance/rally. As the Squad’s narrative collapsed and Biden’s handlers tried to address the issue, the media arrived, saluted, and reported for duty.
National Review published the email exchanges between the Canadian Broadcasting Corporation’s director of journalistic standards, George Achi. He stated that journalists should not refer to Hamas militants or soldiers but as terrorists. The idea of terrorism is still highly politicized, and it’s part of the story. We should always add context when we quote/clip a government official or source who refers to fighters as terrorists. This will help the audience to understand that this is an opinion and not a fact.

Nikki Haley and Kristen Welker clashed on this weekend’s “Meet the Press” over whether or not Iran’s large payout, thanks to Joe Biden’s generosity, contributed to the funding of the attack. Fox reported that Welker had recalled Antony Blinken’s statement that the $6 Billion Biden sent to Iran wasn’t a factor in attacks. Haley used her experience as U.N. Ambassador to criticize Blinken for his irresponsible statement, stating that she saw the results of Biden’s $400 million cash injection to Iran.
You saw me at the United Nations when Obama sent those planes with cash to Iran. I went to the International Atomic Energy Agency. I met them. These funds were sent to Hezbollah and Lebanon. They were sent to Houthis in Yemen. Every dollar they receive, they go out and spread terror.
According to the Daily Caller, Anti-Defamation League CEO Jonathan Greenblatt lit into MSNBC’s Jonathan Lemire for the network’s coverage of the attack. In particular, Ali Velshi’s attempt to blame the attacks on Israel. Greenblatt stated in part:
The past few days have been the most difficult of my life. Let’s be honest: I am angry. I’m angry at a world that allowed the dehumanization of Israelis and sanitized Hamas’ terrorism. I have to say that I love the show and this network, but I’ve got to ask who writes the scripts. Jonathan, Hamas is not a fighter, nor are they militants. I’m looking straight at the camera. They are terrorists. This barbarian rapes brutalizes, and kills children before their parents in front of Gaza.

This morning, I experienced an odd event. It was strange at first. Substack by Bari Weiss is my favorite. Three pieces were featured today, each dealing with atrocities committed in Israel. Weiss’ latest podcast is “Bring Back My Children, An Israeli Mother’s Pleading.” The story is about a mother whose sons, aged 12 and 16, have been taken by Hamas terrorists in Gaza and are, as far as she knows, being held hostage.
When I clicked on Weiss’s link, even though I don’t use Gmail myself, I received a warning that her Substack site contained “malicious codes” and advised me to avoid the website. As I do not use Gmail, this was a surprise. Google is also a part of this email service.
It is not surprising that someone somewhere reads your emails. It’s also not surprising that Gmail has wormed its way into the provider, and is trying to fool them with this head-fake.
I’ve visited Weiss’ site multiple times and have never experienced a problem, so I went to the page anyway. I won’t lie: the podcast is hard to listen to. The rampage by these monsters has been difficult to watch, hear, or even read about. Despite Google trying to warn people off, ostensibly for their “own good” (and many of them have been, I’m sure), this mother’s story has to be heard. And it has to be shared.
