About 20 percent of Arizona’s vote centers are experiencing problems with their tabulation machines.

Although the problem is causing long lines, officials from the county said they are working to address the issue and offer solutions to the public.
At a Tuesday press conference, Bill Gates, Maricopa County Supervisor, stated that “we have been able to rectify this at some centers”.
Voters are asked to place their ballots in drawer 3 of a ballot box if the tabulation machine does not work. If this happens, the ballot will be sent to the downtown Phoenix tabulation center by a “bipartisan group” to be counted tomorrow or late tonight.
Stephen Richer, Maricopa County Recorder, stated that “this is a failsafe that functions in the same way as early voting.”
Richer said, “They will be fed directly to the tabulators tonight.”
Gates assured everyone that they still have the right to vote.
“Everyone still has the right to vote.” Bill Gates, Maricopa County Supervisor stated, “No one is being denied the right to vote.”
