The supermodel and former NFL player divorced in 2022
Gisele Bundchen has no problem being vulnerable when it comes to her divorce from Tom Brady.
The supermodel breaks into tears in a teaser of her interview with Robin Roberts for “IMPACT x Nightline Gisele Bundchen – Climbing the mountain” when asked about the breakup.
Roberts asked her, “You didn’t expect the marriage to end.” No one enters a marriage expecting it to end. But it does. You said that it was the end of a fantasy. “How are you?”
Bundchen takes in a deep breath and answers, “Well when you say …”, before stopping and turning away from the camera.
Gisele asked Robin Roberts to “have a moment” when she cried while talking about her divorce from Tom Brady in her latest interview for “IMPACT x NIGHTLINE.”
Sorry guys, I didn’t know. Can I take a moment? She asks in a tearful voice with her hair covering her face.
In an interview last year with Vanity Fair the Brazilian model stated that the split “was the death of my dreams.” She added, “It is tough because you imagined your life would be a certain manner, and you tried everything you could to make it happen, you know?”
Vivian, Benjamin, and the couple have been together for 13 years. Brady has a son from his previous relationship with actress Bridget Moynahan.
Bundchen’s co-parenting situation with her ex is also discussed in the teaser of her interview with Roberts which will premiere on Thursday.
Giselle and Brady looked angelic at the Met Gala, in New York. Gisele and Tom Brady married for 13 years before they divorced in 2022.
She said, “I can only control my actions and what I do.”
She may have addressed some romance rumors in the interview.
Roberts asked her at one point: “Are going to you be able to open your heart to someone again?” Bundchen responds with an unreliable “Ummm …”
Bundchen says, early in the video, “Everything that I’ve experienced has made me realize what it is I want, and what I do not want.” If you don’t tell the truth about who you are at the end of it all, then you won’t succeed.
She ends the clip by saying “Where my heart now is, is where I am right now. And I’m not sorry for it.”
Bundchen reportedly dated her jiu-jitsu teacher, Joaquim Valente, last year.
In her Vanity Fair Interview, she confirmed that they were seen together several times.
She told the outlet, “I’m sure, at this stage, that because I’m divorced they’re going try to link me with anything.” She was a fan of the family of her jiu-jitsu instructor, saying “I am so grateful to have known them all, not only because they have helped me and my children, but also because they have become good friends. Joaquim in particular.”
Gisele Bundchen said, “Where my heart is now is where I’m at right now, and I’m not apologizing for it.”
She continued, “He is our teacher, and most importantly, I admire him and trust him.” It is so nice to be around such energy and to have my children around it.
“IMPACT x NIGHTLINE: Gisele Bündchen: Climbing The Mountain” premieres on Hulu Thursday.
