A Republican candidate for Virginia State Senate reacted to a liberal journalist who accused her of teaching her child race relations.

Tina Ramirez is running for the seat of Virginia’s 12th District. She mocked PayPal’s misinformation policy and said that only women can become pregnant. David Leavitt, a journalist, accused her of “celebrating torture and rape, murder, and enslavement.”

Leavitt suggested that child services be called on Ramirez, who allegedly taught her daughter to hate. He said that it was very bold of him to accuse Ramirez’s Hispanic mother, of teaching her daughter to be racist.

Leavitt asked, “Can anyone please call child services on Tina Ramirez? She’s teaching her daughter to be racist?”

Leavitt has been repeatedly criticised for his comments at public events as well as on his Twitter account, which has more than 330,000 followers. After the Manchester bombing, 2017, Leavitt joked about dead children. After he had defended his jokes, outlets distanced themselves immediately.

He complained on Twitter two months later that a McDonalds employee had refused to refill his water bottle. He vowed never to return to the restaurant after the restaurant failed to respond.
