When Biden Was Preparing to Speak From the Oval Office U.S. Forces Got Attacked in Iraq

Joe Biden said on Thursday that he wanted to give billions of dollars in aid to Israel and Ukraine as well as the Palestinians living in Gaza. While he called out many people in his speech, he failed to mention any of his own Democrats such as Rep. Rashida Tlaib(D-MI), when he talked about hateful people.

The speech showed how his foreign policy had gotten out of hand and was a danger to the U.S. as well as the rest of the world. It’s likely that there wouldn’t be a war, at least in the same manner, in either place if not for his bad moves and weaknesses.

Even as he was preparing for those remarks, U.S. forces were being attacked in Iraq.

Two security sources reported that drones and rockets attacked the Ain al-Asad Air Base, which is home to U.S. forces and international forces in western Iraq. Multiple blasts could be heard within the base.

The Iraqi army said that it had closed the area surrounding the base and begun a search. The sources said it was unclear whether or not the attacks had caused injuries or damage.

Iraqi police reported on Thursday that rockets had hit another base housing U.S. troops near Baghdad International Airport, but did not provide further details.

Two drone attacks took place on Wednesday. One of them caused minor injuries among troops.

Iraqi forces allied with Iran have warned the U.S. that they will escalate their actions in Gaza if Israel does.

It appears they missed Biden’s “don’t, don’t, don’t” warning about not taking advantage of the situation with the Israeli-Hamas war.
