Barry Croft and Adam Fox were found guilty of kidnapping the Michigan Governor. Gretchen Whitmer was present at their second trial. The first was held in April.

Adam Fox was so poor that he lived in the basement of his vacuum repair shop. Fox declined an offer from the FBI to purchase ammo for his kidnapping plot.

Two other defendants were released after the first trial, which ended in a mistrial.

Julie Kelly, a senior writer at American Greatness, has been covering these controversial trials. She even called them the “Michigan fed-napping case”.

This case is controversial as many of those involved were FBI informants or agents. According to some reports, 12 informants or agents were involved.

The scheme was uncovered and the arrests were made in October 2020, one month before the 2020 election.

Two other defendants, Brandon Caserta (April’s first trial) and Daniel Harris (April’s second trial) were not found guilty of all charges. Two other defendants accepted plea bargains and testified at both trials.

U.S. District Judge Robert Jonker was charged with bias for limiting the time for defense lawyers to cross-examine witnesses.

Recent whistleblowers from the FBI have contacted at least 14 others, including one who claims that the FBI is increasing the number of domestic violent extremists. Evidently, the FBI doesn’t have enough.

Joshua Blanchard, Croft’s public defense attorney, stated in his closing remarks that “The FBI doesn’t exist, and it shouldn’t exist to make people appear like terrorists when they’re not.” “This whole thing was a huge FBI charade. This isn’t Russia. This isn’t how our country operates.

In his closing statement, Christopher Gibbons, Fox’s attorney, stated to the jury that “This is not how a fair trial in America looks like.” This behavior should not be endorsed or rewarded. This is the time to end this mess and restore Adam’s freedom.

Both men could spend their entire lives in prison. It is unknown if the men will appeal.
